The rule of thirds helps you make your composition better. The rule of thirds is where your subject is not in the center of your picture. When you use the rule of thirds on a picture you are putting your subject on an intersection rather then putting your subject in the center of the picture. The way i used the rule of thirds in my picture was i put the the tree which was my subject on the upper right intersection.
